OpenCode Integrates with Grok Subscription, Third xAI Developer Release in One Week

According to Beating, OpenCode, an open-source terminal coding agent, has integrated with xAI's Grok subscription service as of May 22. Users with SuperGrok or X Premium subscriptions can now connect their personal accounts via OAuth authorization to access Grok Build model and code directly within OpenCode, eliminating the need to separately apply for and configure API keys.

The integration supports two connection modes. For desktop environments, users run the /connect command and select xAI to authenticate via browser login. For remote servers, VPS, or SSH terminals without GUI, the system provides a temporary verification code and URL for Headless remote authorization. This marks xAI's third developer integration within one week, following OpenCode's adoption of Hermes Agent on May 16 and OpenClaw on May 19.
